In a world where a fast-paced “convenience” lifestyle leaves our nervous systems and bodies strung out, dependent on adrenaline, and other stress hormones, our whole being is asking for support to balance the treading of everyday life.  Instead of turning to an overdose of coffee, and other stimulants, or surrendering to full-on adrenal failure in mid-life, we can turn to our bodies for direct, seamless, and easeful access to bring balance in the rat race of everyday life. 

Your nervous system design includes divinely created sensory organs to guide your whole being into ease, relaxation, and even wisdom! The eyes are primal; they are hard-wired directly into the core of your nervous system, the executor of your nervous system, the brain! What you regularly gaze upon directly impacts your brain waves. 

The vagus (vagal) nerve is the main parasympathetic (rest & digest) outflow to the heart and belly! The vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve, running from the brain to the large intestine.  “Vagus” means wandering in Latin, and this nerve takes a long, winding course through the body, like a river!  What you feel -your intuition and emotions- directly impacts your visceral state of ease or relaxation.

We can tap into primal rhythms with our eyes on the sky (available ALL the time)!  We can use those same eyes, and simple eye movements to communicate primal safety down through our vagus nerve (the superhighway of nerves down through the belly)! And, we can use our nose to open channels of access directly into the forebrain for relaxation and mental clarity!!

In this workshop, we show and guide 3 simple, low-to-no-cost practices you can do at home, at the office, in the grocery store, or at your kid’s soccer game.  We’ll open the workshop with a ceremonial slow-down circle, and core teaching, then we’ll break out into mini groups to “speed-date” each of the 3 practices:

1) Primal body-moon rhythms
2) Eye movement/massage
3) Essential oil (aromatherapy) use

You’ll receive a prototype of datebook planner pages to set your eyes, daily, on the primal rhythm of the moon that you can seek and see every evening, a set of eye movement/massage practices, and a fresh path toward the essential oil your nose needs to give you the joy, ease, and balance for living a little closer to bliss in this modern, fast-paced, convenience-based world.

Christiana Dominguez, Therapeutic Coach/Guide
Christi opens herself to be mastered by motion in the River of Life.  She facilitates sacred sharing circles around a medicine wheel, guides ceremonies with groups and individuals, and consults in mystical arts from this liquid foundation.  All is flowing, so much so that stagnation itself is an opportunity to move in stillness and create from that point. These underlying philosophies invite Christi to facilitate energy among individuals and groups with the lens that all energy moves in a coherent field.  Her favorite quip being, “you can’t mess this up, and when you do, that’s perfect too.”

Emily Scordato, Energy Facilitator
Currently continuing to liberate herself of layers of conditioning, journeying to her most authentic self. Emily is an explorer of energetic archetypes and symbolism. As a Beehive Mystery School graduate of Level 1, 2, 3, and currently on 4, the teacher training level, she finds inspiration through the elements, and subtle patterns of the universe through the study of esoteric, hermetic, and shamanic modalities. A student and practitioner of tarot, astrology, energy work, and herbalism. She has found empowerment by bridging the above and below as a way to gain insight and guidance on how to best navigate this experience.
