Meet Christiana Joy Dominguez, MSW, Reiki I&II
Christi opens herself to be mastered by motion in the River of Life. She facilitates sacred sharing circles around a medicine wheel, guides ceremony with groups and individuals, and consults in mystical arts from this liquid foundation. All is flowing, so much so that stagnation itself is an opportunity to move in stillness and create from that point. These underlying philosophies invite Christi to facilitate energy among individuals and groups with the lens that all energy moves in a coherent field. Her favorite quip being, “you can’t mess this up, and when you do, that’s perfect too.”
She offers this: “Just when you think you can hold no more, life offers you one more thought, thing, feeling or person to give you the tipping point into total darkness, surrender, and singularity. We are all overwhelmed by the conveniences, counterfeits, capitalism, and commandeering of our sacred spaces. When the soul is left without a home, our bodies suffer (that pain that doesn’t go away) and our minds remain in continuous distress about how to move our life force into safety, security, and trust. The mind longs to soothe us with “all is well, God is good, and everything is as it should be”…. but it’s not. God/Goddess doesn’t operate on the good/bad duality, all is well but sometimes the well runs dry, and if everything is as it should be then there’s no reason to move things around. This pain is our invitation to move; to move through dark and light, good and bad, black and white, and reclaim the power of our Beings with total ease, surrender, and lightness.”
The approach to her arts come from some years of chopping wood and hauling water in a tiny-home, converted yellow school bus. After earning a Masters Degree in Social Work from University of Pennsylvania, and working with anti-trafficking advocacy and victim services, she realized the whole of civilization is backwards and going nowhere. She fled the main stream to seek the still point from which new communities could be born. During this time, she communed and sat with native elders learning traditional, non-western medicine for several years. Digging into her own native roots, she immersed for a month in a preserved, old-tree forest and ancient Druidic mound site in the heart of Belgium. Here, she began her lifelong study of Celtic ways, European Shamanism, and Tantra. The further “off-grid” she went, the deeper her compassion AND devastation became for humanity, until she found her maternal, ancestral homelands along the banks of the Susquehanna. Now, she waxes and wanes with the movements of the moon accepting both the beauty and horror of our modern society. She created a fun, visually-engaging mini course called Moon Lit Mind to encapsulate the gift of peace she received in syncing her life with Mama Moon. You can find the course at her link-site: http://linktr.ee/lovedbythewater.
Christi’s lightness of touch, way with words, and intensive listening to the whole being bring around renewed clarity, focus, and wider acceptance of one’s essence. Her openness to the ugly, dark, and “no good” we each carry offers a safe, sacred place to lay it all on the table. The gentle spirit she carries is offered up into the shaded areas of soul where, together, you generate movement alchemized from the silo of chronic pains, crippling emotions, and persistent thoughts that lead to nowhere. With balanced acceptance within ego, you will no longer be slave to one side of yourself or another. Christi helps negotiate peace at the table of your inner team or family. When all parts are working together to generate as much love for your self as possible, then we know we have found the way, the flow, and the untapped power of Being. Allowing Christi to guide, facilitate, coach, or consult will crystallize and lubricate this work and play of feeling-healing our way through it all.
