Planting Seeds with the Joy of Sound

  • Bee Present Wellness 309 3rd St New Cumberland, PA, 17070 USA (map)

Tuesday, February 22, 2022
6 - 8 PM

Do you struggle tapping into your creativity? Do you have days where you feel stuck, lost, like you’re not sure how to move forward? So many times, we just need to start moving - to release this idea of perfection that limits us as we allow ourselves to open up to movement and acceptance of the moment that we’re in. It’s in these moments of surrendering to the flow that we can truly find peace and joy.

In this workshop, we’re going to create movement by working with the vibrations of sound and our inner creativity as we plant seeds of intentions - Intentions towards loving ourselves and growing ourselves in ways that are nourishing to our soul.

You’ll be guided with sound and visualizations as you embark into your inner landscape - opening up to receive guidance - opening up to discover what it is that needs nourishment in your life and you’ll plant a seed in your ‘inner garden’ to grow and nurture this. Afterwards, you'll have an opportunity to embrace your inner creativity as you create a gourd rattle - filling it with the seeds of your intentions and decorating it to make it uniquely yours. You’ll then be able to take this instrument home with you and use it as a tool to continue working with. Supplies will be provided, no artistic experience necessary!

Please bring a closed container water bottle and a journal if you’d like - we’ll have chairs and backrests available.

*This workshop is a free offering to the community and a part of the curriculum of the beehive mystery school program

Investment: You may share a donation to the space if you wish. You must however register please! Matt is excited to offer this free workshop to help others to discover their own power and divinity as part of his participation in the Beehive Mystery School, as part of “seva” or “service”.

Meet Matthew
Matthew is a Reiki 2 level practitioner, Bee Mystery School Graduate and considers himself a student of life and its ebb and flow. His spiritual journey began over 10 years ago while living off grid in the Smoky Mountains and building a Yurt. Through this experience, he found himself immersed in nature in a whole new way - finding space to see beauty in the seemingly little moments of each day and reconnecting with himself out of a place of understanding, love and compassion.

He honors the wisdom of using sound vibrations and frequencies as a tool for working with the emotional, physical and spiritual body to move and clear energy and bring us back into a more balanced state. It's been in his practice of Sound that he has found the most stillness and enjoys the use of drums, chimes, rattles, rain sticks, singing bowls and other instruments to help facilitate this inner journey of stillness. Matthew has been mentoring under Joushua Maurer who went to WOOM CENTER sound school in NYC and has studied directly under Alexandre Tannous.

Matthew is also a stay-at-home Dad to his two children Tigerlily (5) and Rowen (4), wood worker, avid DIYer, Yurt lover, natural cob builder and nature explorer. He is passionate about community and creating authentic connections with others as we continue to heal ourselves and the planet. Matthew lovingly holds space for all and recognizes the power we each have to get in touch with our inner selves - to find compassion, acceptance and self-love.
